Piers Langdon set up Action Fundraisers to try and help charities get value for money using direct mail. As a CEO of a charity working in Africa he had used direct mail for over a decade using a third party and thought that better returns were possible.
Joining forces with Steve Phillips who has over 20 years in the direct mail and print business they set up an effective model for working with charities.
The charities who use the service are able to share good practise and innovation while at the same time enjoying the benefits of this successful business.
Action Fundraisers covers its costs, invests for the future and distributes the surplus to the charities who have shared in its success in the form of a dividend.
